Mr. BabatundeAbioyeApata had his elementary school at I.C.C. Moor Plantation, Apata-Ganga, Ibadan from where he proceeded to Government College, Ibadan.  He did his Higher School Certificate at Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti and Ondo State College of Arts & Science, IkareAkoko respectively.

He is a graduate of University of Maiduguri, Maiduguri, where he bagged B.Sc (Hons) Accountancy degree.

He possesses a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the then University of Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University).

He is a Fellow, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (FCNA) and also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI).

He is a member of the Association of University Administrators, Manchester, U.K.  In the course of his career, he was a visiting Chief Accountant at Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State between the years 2009 and 2011.

He is widely traveled having attended several Conferences, Workshops, and Seminars at International and Local levels.

He is happily married.

He was appointed as pioneer Bursar of the University on 6th January, 2021.
